Polished, professional, and adaptable. Jacquie "gets it". She is sensitive to budget, open to ideas, and has a keen eye for design. Many times, I felt like she knew my style better than I knew myself. I highly recommend Jacquie for any project, large or small. "We have worked with Jacquie for several months now. We like that Jacquie works with our current furniture as much as possible, whenever it fits in with the new design. She had several great ideas regarding kitchen lighting, paint color, furniture and decor that encouraged us to move out of our comfort zone (i.e. white fur rug in front of the fireplace and live edge wood tables in the family room). She is nice, kind, fun and easy to work with. We will continue to work with her in the future."

Delightfully surprised!!!

We recently moved to San Diego bringing with us a few heirloom pieces from our old home. We had inherited these very unusual pieces from family who often traveled internationally. Our new home is very contemporary, and I had been unable to see any way to incorporate our heirloom pieces. Jacquie has such a flair in making them work with amazing vision. Each time, I felt sure it wouldn’t work but then to be delightfully surprised. Not only was I very pleased - we had fun!

Showcasing YOUR personality!

Jacquie has transformed our house into an extension of us. My husband and I had recently inherited a wide range of items, including antique dressers, Turkish plates, a wedding Kimono, and champion rodeo belt buckles. Jacquie was able to create a theme for our house and build off of the eclectic items from our families. There are not many designers who are able to showcase their client's personalities (rather than their own), and Jacquie is one of them.

Can a room give you a hug?

Jacquie is simply amazing. We wanted to move but decided to let Jacquie work her magic until we were ready to do so. When she was done we loved our home so much we've decided not to move. She said our home would be so warm & inviting "it will give you a hug when you walk in". She was right! Thank You Jacquie!!!

In a week's time...

...we went through the room needing touches to pull the new furniture together. I was scared even to mention the gathering we were having the following week, but she just smiled and said "perfect, I will be shopping this weekend and we'll get together before then!" She is amazing. She purchases items within your budget - adds ideas you wouldn't have considered, blends with what you already have for a fresh new look. I will use Jacquie again.

Surprise remodel - 2 weeks

Tim said: We started with just the Master Bedroom and after I saw her vision I asked her to help on the rest of the house. She listened to what I wanted and delivered! So much fun to work with and will recommend her with enthusiasm. Designer's Note: The client gave us two weeks before his wife returned to pull off remodeling 85% of their home! We not only repurposed their furniture, added lighting, purchased additional pieces BUT added two barn doors. Was great fun and we got it done!

We recently blended our families...

Parents were downsizing...

Roger said:  "My parents in Southern California were needing to downsize; and while I was able to arrange new living arrangements, I frankly could not be available (living in Florida) to determine what should be moved and what should be sold or given away.  I did not have the time nor the skills to determine what would fit in their new living arrangements. Jacquie Evans, as a project manager, was able to take care of all of this in addition to scheduling the move.

Men need their space, too! Note from Jacquie: I worked with a delightful woman in redesigning several of her rooms: family room, bedroom. While we worked within her budget rather slowly, we totally (and quickly, I might add) converted a third seldom-used sitting area (not on the agenda) into a very dignified masculine game room for her husband's poker group - which he NOW wants to host EVERY month!
